Tongits Go — what it is and how it works
Tongits Go is an online card game developed by JILI Game Studio, and is a modern digital version of the classic Filipino card game Tongits. Thousands of players in Bangladesh are now enjoying this game at bb344. It is essentially a rummy-style matching card game where each player tries to form sets and runs using the cards in their hand.
A key attraction of the game is its fast pace — each round is short, making it ideal for those looking for entertainment in a little free time during a busy day. From busy professionals in Dhaka to homemakers, everyone enjoys Tongits Go on bb344 via mobile during an office break or at night in bed.
The game runs equally smoothly on the bb344 app and in a mobile browser. Thanks to JILI's advanced technology, graphics are sharp and gameplay is uninterrupted.
Core rules and strategy of Tongits Go
The game takes only a few minutes to learn, but mastering it gives you a much better chance of winning.
Card dealing
Each player is dealt 12 cards, and one card is placed face-up in the centre. The remaining cards from the deck are placed face-down.
Forming sets and runs
Three or more cards of the same number placed together form a set. Three or more cards of the same suit in sequence form a run.
Winning with Tongits
If all the cards in your hand are matched as sets or runs, you can call "Tongits" and win instantly. This gives the highest reward.
Calling Fight
When any player calls "Fight", everyone compares their cards. The player with the lowest points wins — this is the most exciting strategic moment of the game.
Counting points
Jokers and number cards have different values. The fewer unmatched cards you hold, the lower your points — and the better your chances of winning.
Strategic play
Keep track of what cards your opponents are discarding. Hold on to the cards you need and surprise your opponents by calling Fight at the right moment.
